Mila AI Interview Notice
An organization has asked whether Mila, Inleika's AI interviewer, can take part in your interview. Please read this before you decide.
What Mila is
Mila is an artificial intelligence, not a person. She joins the video meeting as a participant labeled as AI and speaks with you by voice. She:
- asks job-related questions the organization has approved;
- asks neutral follow-up questions;
- leaves the meeting when the interview's goals are covered or the authorized time ends.
What happens to the conversation
- Transcribed. The conversation is converted to text while it happens, so Mila can understand and follow up. The transcript is saved.
- Not recorded. No audio or video recording of the meeting is kept by Inleika or by the meeting service Mila uses. If you agree to face comparison, a few still images of your face are kept (see below).
- Who joins. The name each person shows in the meeting, and when they join and leave, are saved with the interview.
- Observations. After the interview, Mila writes observations and, if she was an interviewer, feedback. Each observation points to what you actually said. Her observations state their limitations, including when there wasn't enough evidence.
- Who sees it: the organization's authorized evaluators. If you are asked about sensitive matters, you don't have to answer. Sensitive information you mention is not used to evaluate you.
- No voice identification or emotion analysis. Mila does not identify you by your voice or infer emotions or personality.
Face comparison (optional)
When the organization asks for it and you agree, Inleika keeps a few still images of your face during the interview and compares them with your profile photo and with your earlier interviews with the same organization.
- If they may not match, the organization sees a warning and the images, and a person there decides whether it was someone else. The comparison never decides.
- Only that organization sees the images, the warning and its decision.
- The images are deleted 90 days after the interview. While a warning the organization confirmed stands, they are kept, but never more than 12 months after the interview.
Who decides
People at the organization make the hiring decision. Mila's observations are one input that human evaluators review. Mila never decides whether you advance.
Who is responsible for the data
The organization that invited you is responsible for the interview data. Inleika processes it on the organization's behalf. Transcripts and the names of who joined and left are deleted 90 days after the interview. Mila's written observations remain part of the organization's records.
Your choices
- Consent. Mila takes part only if you agree, in Inleika, before the interview. You can withdraw your consent in Inleika at any time before or during the interview.
- Decline. If you decline, Mila will not join. The organization decides whether to offer you another format.
- Face comparison. When the organization asks for it, it is a separate choice in the same step. If you don't agree, you can't continue in that hiring process until you do; you can withdraw from it instead. In Colombia, declining only skips the comparison. If you withdraw your consent, your images are deleted.
- If an organization arranges your interviews for you. When the organization manages your profile and coordinates your interviews, it may confirm in Inleika that it has your permission. Your own choice in Inleika always prevails.
- Stop at any time. During the interview, say that you want Mila to stop. She will stop asking questions and leave the meeting.
- Your rights. You can ask the organization for your transcript and for its correction or deletion, and you can ask for a human review. See the Privacy Notice. You can also write to privacy@parzr.com, and we will pass your request to the organization.
Other people in the meeting
The organization is responsible for telling its own interviewers and observers that Mila transcribes the meeting and saves who joins and leaves.
